Getting error "Please authenticate your account"

Meta is blocking your campaign from launching due to the following error:
"We think someone may have tried to access your account without permission. For your protection, you won't be able to create or modify ads until you authenticate your account in Ads Manager. Your existing ads will continue to run normally."

There are a few workarounds for this error, we recommend trying each of them until the error is gone.

1. Toggle 2 factor authentication inside meta ads manager for this exact ad account. This will then trigger their system to confirm that you're authenticated.

2. Create a test campaign inside meta ads manager and see if there are any errors or if it prompts you to authenticate.

3. if you already have a campaign on meta, editing any of its details such as the targeting, and then publishing that campaign, might prompt this authentication.

4. Removing the email address and re-adding it or simply confirming the mobile number on that ad account.
